BIO:
We currently are at the Uganda Campus in Lobowa Hills, just outside Kampala. I teach Church History, Ethics, and several New Testament courses and direct evangelism outreach, Marlene teaches communications courses. We arrived in August of 2006 and hope to be here a very long time! Interesting facts:
Kurt became interested in ministering directly with people while working previously in Kenya. The Kenyans worked their way into his heart as he became heavily involved in church planting in the highlands area in the Southwestern part of the country. Marlene became interested in missions during a college exchange program that landed her in Costa Rica and Mexico.
Favorite pasttimes:
Kurt: Flying! (you had to ask?), Reading Reformed Theology, working on Cars, meeting brothers and Sisters in Christ anywhere in the world. Good preaching! Marlene: Baking homemade bread! Reading, Women's bible studies.
Anything else:
We are both humbled and thrilled to be able to serve the Lord in this way. He has been extraordinarily gracious to us!
