BAYANA CHUNGA
 |
Bayana Bokosi Frank Chunga began studying at African Bible Colleges in September 1998 and graduated in June 2002. While he was at ABC, he enjoyed "Theology of Suffering" with Palmer Chinchen and "Speech Communication" with Paul Chinchen. During his free time, he loved providing commentary at the ABC soccer pitch.
In June 2006, four years after graduating Bayana married Shingirai.
Bayana was led to serve God through the media. After his graduation, he raised support in the United Stated to start this ministry. He started with daily devotional programs on the Malawi Broadcasting Corporation, which is the national radio station.
|
Later, in 2003, he began producing a radio documentary that dealt with the AIDS crisis in Malawi from a Christian perspective.
Bayana also has a weekly column in one of the national newspapers, "The Sunday Times." The column is known as "Wings of Hope."

"I discovered the relevance of God's Word in today's life. I did not know that you could use sports as a ministry. I never knew that you could use radio to spread the Word. I thought you only had to preach on radio to spread the Word. Now I know you can do more." |

"To be able to break in to the print media is also a good thing. By God's grace, I have become one of the most invited speakers in universities and colleges and churches in Blantyre."
"I think ABC is helping Malawi in the sense that it is equipping Christian minds that can live for a cause and function for God's glory. ABC is an eye opener for young believers, while at the same time equipping them to meet the demands of our growing society, church and country. My desire is to have ABC (continuing to stay) focused on God's Word and not losing out on the original vision. Keep up on the good work. Don't lose out on the original vision."
